Today I will be reviewing Bondi Band. Bondi Band is super simple! It’s an armband that you can put stuff in. The reason I’m reviewing this is because it is THE ONLY thing I have found that works well for me to carry my iPhone 6 Plus in while I run. It’s simple, easy to use, doesn’t move when I run, doesn’t squish my arm, and they come in multiple sizes and colors.
Today I’ll be reviewing the FlipBelt. I purchased the FlipBelt because it was one of the only things I could fit my iPhone 6 Plus into while I run. The FlipBelt has nifty little holes throughout that you can stash lots of things like keys and phones and cash and then you can flip it over and all of the stuff stays securely with you.
I personally did not like the FlipBelt for running. It wanted to move up off my hips, past my waist, and up into my bra line. It was uncomfortable and had to be readjusted several times while running. I would not recommend purchasing this item.
This week I am reviewing the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K race. Yes, I manage an awesome Virtual Race Series, but I know sometimes going to the actual race is fun too (if you’re willing to deal with the crowds and the extra cost). When you decide to go to a physical event, do not miss out of the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K. This is one of the best races, if not the best, that I’ve ever participated in. There are plenty of volunteers, lots of security, a great course, and AWESOME SWAG!
15K and 5K Distances
Races in 15 different cities.
Kid Zone at both packet pickup/expo and on race day with inflatables.
Race swag including a hoodie, a drawstring bag, and a finisher mug with hot chocolate, chocolate fondue, and a bunch of yummy things to dip in the fondue.
15K participants win an awesome finisher medal.
This is a race that I will continue to go to yearly! I’ve done Denver and St. Louis… next year who knows!
Today I am reviewing Bluebuds! These are AMAZING! They are bluetooth (cordless) earbuds that connect to your phone or audio player. They worked especially well with my iPhone.
Customizable sizes – depending on your ear size.
Easy to set up.
Fit snugly – don’t slip.
Change volume, songs, take calls, etc. with the controls next to ear. (Very easy to use!)
Charges with a USB cable.
Last 8 hours! (I ran a 15K and they lasted the entire time with lots of battery to spare)
Has a nice carrying case included.
I have tried so many other headphones and these are easily the best I’ve ever used! They make me excited to run! Also, they were so comfortable that when I was finished with my race, I completely forgot to take them out until one of the volunteers got my attention.
